Statler College is West Virginia University's school of Engineering and Mineral Resources. I was responsible for the design and production of print collateral that advertised and detailed the college’s majors; visual identity and apparel design for numerous college groups; visual identity, branding and apparel for themed summer camps and branding of other goods to advertise the college all within brand guidelines.
Engineering Challenge Camps are annual summer camps held at West Virginia University’s Statler College of Engineering. They introduce the core concepts of engineering to K-12 youth while revolving around a specific theme. As the lead on creative direction and production for summer camps, I created visual identities for each camp that borrows from the activities or theme and uses hand drawn graphics and lettering. These identities were then applied to shirts for each camper, camp agendas and advertising collateral.
The stem zone is a dedicated space within The Statler College that hosts outreach events for K-12 students. It is a bright, visually-stimulating area in which students have access to items to enhance their learning experience such as hand tools, 3D printers, Legos, STEM kits and more. This large acrylic sign is displayed on the wall to welcome guests into the space.
